More heads

Days 3-6 of my head tilts. I'll post 7-9 tomorrow once I have them done. A few decent looking things in among the crap, at least.

Head Tilts

Three pages of head tilts, just quick 'n' dirty gestures to get a better idea of how the head sits and where the major features are. Not great at the moment, but give me a page a day for say, two weeks, and you'll be seeing some changes.


And say, does anyone know anything about the Sitemeter gadget? I added it with the Customize option, but all it ever does is say "Loading" twice, and never gives me anything else. What am I doing wrong, or what have they not bothered to tell me I should do? I'm lost here.

Third, yay for Nova Scotia electing an NDP government! I never thought that would ever happen. Wish I was still back there.

It's a start

So a page of figures with no reference, just a random action line and let's see what happens, and a page of feet with reference. Not bad.

A little toy to play with

The Brainstormer. Lovely little thing for writers or illustrators. I mean seriously, how cool a concept is "flight, mechanized, fairy" anyway? I've got visions of a Freakangels-esque steampunk sprite, here. Just wish my skills were far enough along to back that up.

Getting a bit better, little by little. Shame some of the darker shading on the upper body of the last one got washed out, but I can live with it.

Sorry there hasn't been much posting these days. I've mostly been just working on anatomy stuff. But it's starting to pay off, I'm getting a better and better feel for the human form as I go along, so hopefully by the end of the summer I'll be doing a lot more confident sketching.

In the meantime, here's some bones from the past few days.
